Sniffing out cancer to snuff it in its tracks


Making the case that dogs are really a human's best friend, a rescue dog reportedly detected her owner's skin cancer — and potentially saved her life.

Dogs - man's best friend in so many ways! And they can be truly life-saving too, with research showing that dog owners have healthier cardiovascular systems and lower stress levels. Now it's even more than this, with dogs able reportedly to "sniff" out cancerous tumours, making an owner is aware of its presence.
